A Step Beyond serves youth from low-income families in the cities of San Marcos and Escondido. The programs at A Step Beyond are proven to help these students gain the skills and self-confidence necessary to graduate high school, attend college, and choose a career. We do this through a unique approach that combines rigorous, professional dance training complemented by academic and family counseling services. Students begin with our program in third grade and continue through high school graduation and beyond. With the help of A Step Beyond, our students will reach their potential and inspire others in their communities to do the same.
