Prior to ASB, Oliver served as the Education Director, Associate Director and Interim Executive Director for Young Audiences of San Diego (Arts for Learning, San Diego)

Has danced within San Francisco and LA communities before relocating to SD County in 2013. Has taught dance for such institutions as CSULB, CSUF, SDSU, UCSD, American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensives in Orange County.
B.A. in Human Development, Masters in Social Work from California State University of San Marcos, and is a licensed clinical social worker
11 years of experience in providing therapeutic services, case management, client advocacy, and an array of social work services. Trained in different therapeutic modalities including; Social Emotional Learning, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Approach.
BA in Physics (Electronics) and a minor in Math from California State University of San Marcos. Was the only Summa Cum Laude Physics graduate in her class.
Conducted Physics Education research in undergrad and completed a research internship simulating the behavior of vortices.

Started at A Step Beyond in Fall 2018 as an Academic Volunteer and became an Academic Leader a year later. Has worked with all age groups, but primarily 7th graders to high school students.
