The Academic Manager at A Step Beyond oversees academic support for students in grades 3–12, ensuring success in school and engagement in ASB’s creative programs. The role manages curriculum, tutoring, family engagement, and the Academic Services team, while fostering student-centered, culturally sustaining learning. Ideal candidates have education or youth development experience, knowledge of California standards and A–G requirements, Spanish fluency, and a passion for supporting student success.

The Institutional Giving Manager at A Step Beyond leads grant and institutional fundraising, managing relationships with foundations, corporations, and government funders to support programs and operations. The role oversees the full grant cycle—including research, writing, reporting, budgeting, and stewardship—while collaborating with the CEO and program teams to align with organizational goals. The manager develops grant tracking systems, builds funder relationships, and contributes to strategic development planning. Ideal candidates have at least five years of nonprofit grants experience, strong writing and financial skills, and a commitment to equity and A Step Beyond’s mission.
