Join A Step Beyond on November 10 or 11 for a reimagining of The Nutcracker ballet through dance, theater, music, and puppetry. The story begins at Maria’s Quinceñera and through the magic of the night, the audience journeys to Mexico in search of Maria’s father.

By attending El Alebrije, you can help local students learn dance, receive academic support, and ultimately achieve their dreams of graduating from high school and attending a college or career pathway program of their choosing.

This performance will feature over 150 A Step Beyond students between the ages of 8 and 17 years. All choreography, set design, and props were created with and by our youth.
