On Giving Tuesday (November 29th), ASB will launch a new campaign entitled # GivingTuTuesday!…get it, like ballet tutus! Teams will compete in a tutu decorating competition through December 10th to raise the most funds for ASB’s Student Scholarship Fund. This Fund supports the ongoing education of individuals who participated in our programs by filling the gaps in financial assistance that our students may experience as they enter college, certificate programs, or trade schools.

All donations to the Student Scholarship Fund will be matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor, so your impact will be DOUBLED! The winning team’s tutu will be worn by our CEO, James Wright, during his curtain speech for our upcoming student winter performance, El Alebrije.
At A Step Beyond, we see a bright future for the students we serve, and our goal is that each one will pursue meaningful college and career paths after graduating from high school. At the same time, we know many of our youth face financial barriers in following their chosen college and career paths.
